As per my last post there’s been much endeavour on the garden front recently (thanks mum!), so this post will mainly be pictures of how things have developed over the last couple of weeks.
At the moment we have a stunning display of Irises. The ones I split, which sulked last year, are very much back on track. The thuggish red poppies are bursting out all over as are aquilegia of every shape and form. The ranunculus I put in in the autumn are adding exotic whirls and swirls and the lupins are also going gangbusters. The candelabra primulas are now coming up and the helianthemum are out for a long haul over the summer.

However, its more about the overall picture, with lovely combinations springing up (often under their own steam). So here’s a pick and mix.
