It was awful. Men were trapped under wardrobes. Chairs were multiplying in quiet corners. There were lids with no pans and other pans with no lids, but definitely not those lids – oh no. I shall say no more until my next venting*

Anyway, I am done. Totally frazzled. Whatever plans I had are in abeyance. I hung the odd bauble on the tree and that’s it for the night. But a word to the wise – if your mother ever expresses an interest in quilting take immediate defensive measures. Buy her a quad bike, or a horse, or even a camel. Get the woman a Sikorsky helicopter and a machine gun. Trust me – it will take up less space in the long run…..
