Home Again Home Again Joggety Jog

After yesterday’s cultural endeavours (the ballet was fantastic, though I was so tired I had to soak my head in the loos in the interval to make sure I didn’t miss anything), we were back on the train home again today. There had been talk of Christmas shopping in the morning, but I had a tour of Anne’s garden instead. Her quinces are all right out and she’s very much in new greenhouse mode (propagate everything and worry about where it goes later (a bit like mum’s approach to furniture restoration….). My return was, of course, greeted with much acclamation by the pets. Lyra snored through it and Pingu glared malevolently from under the Barbie tree.

Today has been poor show on the Christmas prep front. I opened some cards and managed a minor internet shoppette after dinner (Keith frowned in horror that I was still at it…) but my main triumph of the day was securing a new skip and a commitment from BAVS to take one of Mum’s surplus wardrobes in January. Efforts in project “reclaim the floor” recommence tomorrow. In the meantime I’m off to bed as I’m totally whacked.

Have I missed a day? the quiz questions seem all out of whack. Yes – looks like I duplicated 16 in my post unpacking fugue. So let’s play catch up”
