I have been intrigued to see, over the months since I commenced wittering, a number of views coming in from foreign parts. I started this blog as a way to keep in touch with friends and neighbours when confined to barracks during successive lockdowns and it has tickled me hugely to see, amongst others, a US dog trainer community and some Indian foodies taking an interest in what is going on in this little spot of Scotland. Welcome all of you, the more the merrier.
So this made me think whether there is anything I could do which might be useful for curious overseas readers. I have come up with a couple of ideas but if anyone has a burning idea do chip in on the comments section. .
Every year I knock up a planner/desk diary for a few friends peppered with pictures of plants from the garden. This years batch is now on its way and will be here for the new year, if not Christmas stockings (I was, as ever, late in getting it in to the publisher). I have fiddled about on the site and it seems that I can make this prestigious tome available at the printing cost for direct shipping via the link below. If anyone wants one do feel free (I’m afraid though the print cost isn’t all that cheap for a single copy). (Judy do not click as you will spoil the complete surprise of getting yet another one). I’ve not tried this before so any feedback on the system would be most welcome. I’m highly curious to see how well this works.

I have also set myself the task, for the new year, of pulling together an interesting links page for local places of interest, local crafts that have an online presence and so on. You never know, by next year we may all be able to move around! However if you think of anything else do chip in.
Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and much health and happiness for 2021 (frankly we could all do with a break!)

I have lost earrings in the past and ‘magically’ they have turned up months later in the car I was using that day. Any chance this has happened her?

Margaret was this perhaps a reply to a different discussion I am somewhat at a loss, though fully recognize the lost item syndrome
