It was gloriously sunny today – a bitter irony for a working from home day. However, I went out at noon for a pooch around to see what was new and found myself down by the pond. Lachlan and Lyra were checking out the frogs and in a spontaneous meeting of minds it became clear that it was time for…the coracle ….
“What we need….” mused Lachlan as he spun around and around “……..is a canal”.
Perhaps next year’s project for Tom and Keith.
Alas no Victoria plums for us this year – no flowers -and I am now wholly vindicated in my assertion that Stuart pruned them at entirely the wrong time. Good job the freezer is still full of last year’s….The apples look promising though.
